8x10 OilYes this scene is a little out of season, it's a small painting I started last July in Grand Marais Minnesota. I've been thinking of it lately due to the workshop I'm teaching, (along with Neil Sherman) and decided to finish it from memory. I love painting the rock formations on Artist's Point and was I liked the rhythm of the opposing angles in this composition.
